Effective August 20, 2026This notice explains what HOUSE ZERO collects, why we use it, and the choices you control.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect account details such as your email address, player name, password hash, timezone, and email preferences; gameplay such as actions, scores, streaks, crews, and rankings; and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, session, security, and basic product analytics events.
WHY WE USE IT
We use data to operate and secure accounts, resolve daily games, maintain rankings and crews, deliver requested emails, understand product performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and comply with legal obligations.
Daily Drop emails are opt-in. You can pause them from your profile or the unsubscribe link in every Drop email. Password resets and essential account messages are transactional and may still be delivered.
WHO HELPS US
Service providers process limited data for us, including Google Cloud for hosting and storage and Postmark for email delivery. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.
COOKIES & ANALYTICS
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. We record limited first-party product events to understand whether features work. HOUSE ZERO does not currently load third-party advertising trackers.
RETENTION & SECURITY
We retain information while needed for the service, security, legitimate business records, and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it where practical. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee perfect security.
YOUR CHOICES
You can update profile and email settings in the service. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available where you live. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
INTERNATIONAL USE
HOUSE ZERO operates using service providers in the United States. If you use it elsewhere, your information may be processed in countries with different data-protection rules, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.
AGE LIMIT
HOUSE ZERO is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
CHANGES & CONTACT
We may update this notice as the product or law changes. The effective date above shows the latest version.
